East Made Event Company dreamed up the most beautiful creative project last fall. This French-Inspired wedding editorial at Tudor Place in DC was one of my favorites. Vicki Grafton's photographs are always incredible, and the color tones in these warm and creamy autumnal shots are no exception. Add in my favorite paper designer, Julie Ha as the cherry on top.
I love how the color tones are of the place, not fighting against it, creating an aesthetic cohesion throughout the florals, furniture, attire, and even the food. The bouquet and centerpiece were filled with decadent, mature garden roses, ranunculus, dark berries, lush foliage, magnolia leaves, and rice flower in color tones echoing the creamy stone building and pebbled pathways.
The palette is a fresh, contemporary, yet elegant take on typical fall color palettes and I can't wait to utilize this as inspiration for our fall weddings to come.
We were honored to have this project featured on Once Wed - see the post for even more images.
