I love this creative project I worked on with Rachel May Photography earlier this spring. This is a great example of how you might utilize your venue to inspire your wedding color palette. I think it's so important to work with the space you're in vs. against it.
When Rachel and I met up at Rust Manor House a few weeks before the shoot, I snapped a photo of the stone on the back porch - that photo guided the rest of my planning for the florals. The stone was grey with rusty faded hues and creamy undertones. Those same hues were brought into the flowers through rust hued heuchera, chocolate cosmos, frittilaria, and antique helleborus, along with creamy hued carnations, butterfly ranunculus, astilbe, flannel flower, and the most incredibly delicate and curly autumn clematis.
